Regus has the experience and expertise to offer a complete service and repair package for both planned and reactive maintenance needs to make valve servicing as hassle free as possible.
The Regusteam understand that the Service and Repair of its clients control valves and other types of valves, is a critical and specialized aspect of their operations.
With Regus' 24 hour service, clients can have the confidence of speaking to a qualified valve engineer or technician, 365 days a year at no extra cost, and without the need for any formal contract.
Clients have access to various valve service repair equipment that can be mobilized at short notice to assist with on-site valve repairs or removals as well as an extensive range of containers that can be easily adapted to any service required.
Workshop Capabilities
The overhaul or repair of valves is carried out in a purpose built valve workshop with state of the art test facilities.
Regus' extensive workshop is fully equipped to ensure that valve repairs and overhauls are carried out to the highest of standards. Specialized tools are available throughout the workshop for a wide range of valves and actuators with the most advanced pieces of test equipment and computer software assisting the engineers daily.
A purpose designed test rig allows testing to all recognised standards (like API 6D, ANSI/ISA 75.19.01-2007 & FCI 70.2) but it goes beyond that by allowing site process conditions to be accurately simulated. With process conditions having a major effect on the trim, shaft, packing and actuator Regus invest time in simulating the conditions correctly during valve set up so that the optimum valve performance can be assured.
The valve test rig interfaces directly with and is controlled by Regus Manager™, allowing live test results to be made available to clients, the client can also monitor valve testing via live video links through Regus Manager™.
Finally, Regus' in-house paint shop also means the team can apply a range of various standards of paint specifications for the offshore industry.
On-site Servicing
One of the many services which our clients enjoy is Regus' provision of On-Site Surveys. These Site Surveys are designed to provide information on the condition of valves and control systems, which can be integrated into preventative maintenance programmes, and provide the most effective and appropriate maintenance regime for plant.
Clients receive a formal document for each valve, incorporating a full specification and detail of the valves current serviceability status. Costs and scheduling information is also provided, for any subsequent maintenance work that may be recommended in the survey report.
Regus' engineers and technicians carry out loop tuning and in-situ performance tuning on control valves which can increase production and very effectively stabilize whole process systems making the plant more efficient.
Quick and unscheduled repairs on valves that have failed can be done in-line to keep production running whilst a more suitable repair or replacement is planned for a more convenient time. However if valves need to be sent to the workshop packing can be an issue. With the introduction of new materials for use within control valves and isolation valves Regus can re-pack valves and guarantee zero leakage for a set period of time.
